Conner Contemporary Art created *gogo emerging art projects, an independent venture devoted to incubating emerging and experimental art, in the fall of 2007.
The *gogo emerging art projects concept evolved from Conner Contemporary Art's annual Academy exhibition of recent BFA/MFA graduates from the Washington/Baltimore area. The experience of promoting new talent inspired the creation of a more structured project that assists the movement of promising artists to the next level of the art market.
*gogo emerging art projects will present artists with challenges and opportunities by providing various venues to exhibit and interact with other artists at different levels of experience.
*gogo's province will include national art fairs, national/international group exhibitions, online projects and off-site events.
